beautiful watch! doesn't last long.

This watch looks better then the $200 Edelhausen I purchased for my father. Don't know how durable this one is yet; just got it yesterday. It doesn't have the kinetic winding pendulum like the Edelhausen, so you'll have to wind it up every day. The only thing I don't like is the 4 o'clock symbol. It should be an IV not an IIII. This is actually the same error as on the Edelhausen. Makes me think that it's the same manufacturer...in China most likely, even though it says Swiss. In any case, this watch looks great! You can see all the cogs and springs working and the back of the watch is translucent too.Update: So, I initially rated this watch a 5. Now, after a week and a half or so of use the watch is no longer functional. It does not wind....the knob turns but there is no resistance, as if the kogs or spring have gone out of alignment. I did not wind it more then 20 times each day cause i did not want to damage the watch...even though the instructions said around 40 winds at a time is okay. It's a shame, I really liked how the watch looked but now it's going into the trash. Stay away from this one, it's not worth the hassle.

This watch is great it looks like an expensive watch without the price I like the fact that it never needs a battery just keep it wound and it keeps time perfect!

Cannot keep it running

This is a beautiful watch, but no matter how much I wind it, it will only run for a few hours. I plan to return it.
